Our 2017 – 2018 Peer Helpers

One of the most important pillars of the CEDA Pathways to Education program is mentorship. Not only do we encourage students to learn and grow from the leadership of family, staff, and community members; we also encourage them to learn from one another.

Our Peer Helper program has been a successful example of this peer mentorship. With the amazing guidance of two Pathways alumni, Cheyenne and Rose, Pathways has another group of ten young role-models working in programming this school year. These students are gaining employment skills and building their resumes, and most importantly, providing fellow students with strong role-models to look to for guidance, education support, and mentorship. We’re so proud of Xavier, Kross, Sydney, Matt, Isaak, Stacey, Maria, Ade, Brandon, and Kate-Lynn for their work in the program so far and we look forward to seeing their growth in the program over the year.
